This initiative is fully funded through Main Roads WA's Low-Cost Urban Road Safety Program and aims to reduce crash risks and lower vehicle speeds, creating a safer environment for all road users.

Main Roads have identified and prioritised Bertram South- West areas (bounded by Johnson Road, Bertram Road and Price Parkway) based on crash data analysis and considering locations with increased pedestrian and cyclist activity. The program emphasises area-wide or whole-of-street approaches and collaboration with stakeholders. On going evaluation through pre- and post-construction monitoring, with lessons learned informing future programs.
