A Multicultural Action Plan for Kwinana

Kwinana is a vibrant and diverse place where people from many cultures live, work and connect.

We want to ensure it continues to be a place where diversity is celebrated and everyone feels they belong.

The City is developing a Multicultural Action Plan to help strengthen and support our community into the future. To make sure the plan reflects local experiences and priorities, it’s important that the voices of people from diverse backgrounds help shape it.

Stay informed and learn how you can have your say!

Community Reference Group - Expressions of Interest open now!

Are you passionate about living in an inclusive, welcoming and connected community?

We are seeking enthusiastic community members to join a Community Reference Group that will share ideas, provide feedback and help guide the development of the Multicultural Action Plan.

Who can apply?

If you're 16 years or older and live, work or study in Kwinana, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for a diverse mix of people from different neighborhoods, age groups, cultural backgrounds, and life experiences. No previous experience is needed, just tell us about your passion for community and why you want to contribute to the Multicultural Action Plan.

Why get involved?

The Community Reference Group will be a time-limited group set up specifically to guide the development of the Multicultural Action Plan. By getting involved and having their say, members will make sure that the diverse voices of our community are at the heart of the plan. They will also get a chance to make meaningful connections with others who are passionate about Kwinana and no doubt will have a bit of fun along the way!
