I have tickets to a show that has been cancelled due to COVID restrictions - What happens now?

If you have a ticket to one of the shows that has been cancelled, the person who booked the ticket(s) will be contacted by Koorliny Arts Centre via the details provided during the booking.

These tickets will be provided a full refund in the coming week or two. If they have not heard from Koorliny, or received a refund by Monday 3 May, they can contact the Centre on 9467 7118.  We appreciate ticket holders patience as we work through the large number of people we need to contact over the coming days.

Why did you cancel events on the 1st and/or 2nd of May? The restrictions end on the 30th of April?

Given the large number of artists, performers and small businesses it takes to deliver an event of this size, it is not feasible to wait until Friday afternoon (30 April) to make a decision if these events could go ahead or not.  For the safety of attendees, staff and suppliers, the tough decision has been made to not proceed with these events.

    Do I need tickets?

It depends on which event you are attending:

    • ‘Paid ticketed’ events will require a ticket, which will require payment at the time of booking. Every attendee must have a valid ticket.

    • ‘Free – ticketed’ events are free to attend but will require a ticket as there is a limited number of seats available. Every attendee must have a valid ticket.

    • ‘Free – no ticket required’ events do not need tickets to attend. Attendees can just turn up on the day.

Please note that attendees will need to sign the register or scan the Safe WA app for contact tracing purposes before they are admitted to any event space. Please check the event program here to determine if your preferred show needs tickets or not.

    Do my kids need tickets?

Yes, all attendees (including children) will require a ticket where tickets are required. Please ensure they are supervised and enter with their guardians on the day.

How can I check if I can take my children to a certain show?

We will do our best to provide you with warnings about show content and age suitability, where the artist or presenter has passed that information onto us. Artists self-rate their shows, and as we are an open access festival, we can’t guarantee the content and suitability. Please use your discretion when determining suitability for your child, as there will be no exchanges or refunds on tickets purchased.

Please note there are age restrictions on some events in the OMG! Program. The age restrictions must be adhered to as entry will be refused and no refund will be given.

What do the age ratings mean? Can I still go if I am under the age listed?

The age ratings listed are the minimum age requirements for a participant to attend.

Venue staff may ask for proof of age if they do not think a ticket holder meets the required age restriction. Entry will be refused and no refund will be given if proof of age cannot be provided. Audience Suitability Ratings

What if my tickets are lost or stolen?

Most venues don’t require you to have a printed ticket to gain entry to the show. Simply show your Order Confirmation email to venue staff on arrival.
