What would be your one wish for the Recquatic?
Dry sauna and ice bath.
Would love to see some family memberships available please making it more affordable for everyone to come along!
Also the ability to book a lap pool lane would be helpful, to avoid disappointment when the pool is full up.
Ice baths for recovery
For the gym upgrade, I would love to see:
- 24/7 access
- a multi-use fly machine that can do both pec and rear delts
- full length mirrors and/or separate mirror room for posing, progress photos etc.
Is it possible to get more lanes added? It's so often overcrowded, what with swimming clubs in the mornings and swimming lessons in the afternoons. Those of us who work 8-4/9-5 jobs have difficulty finding a good time to use the pool.
Maybe if possible a time schedule of the quieter pool times would be nice i know its not certain time everyday but just a rough estimate maybe just logged over a few weeks just to get rough estimate times during the day where its more quieter it doesnt need to be set in stone or anything as sometimes loud times cant be helped but just a little guideline for people with sensory issues where possible or if possible
But thankyou for keeping our pool so beautiful clear and tidy kind regard Alannah Wright
A sauna in addition to the steam room would be nice.
More creche evening hours and possibly open earlier than 4pm
Somewhere to sit thatβs not super loud and really hot near the pools - to wind down after working out before picking up kids from creche
I believe this facility should have a low sensory, neurodivergent safe sessions in all areas maybe twice a week for children and adults with sensory disabilities.
Allowing us to use all the different spaces at the centre.
It is not a place I can visit due to my sensitivities and disability and I am sure there are many other adults as well as children who can not visit due to their disability and sensory needs.
Many shops and apps now offer low lighting and minimal sounds for sensory shoppers.
It would be awesome to be able to visit and use this facility at a time that was designed for my sensory needs.
A sensory room where we can regulate from noise and sound and smell would also be an inclusive addition to your space.
With hope I send this.
There isnβt much in the area for us.
This would be a huge benefit and way to draw in a wide range of people to your facility.
Thank you for reading.
More lanes for swimming laps. I stopped coming because when i came after work swimming lessons were on and laps club so there was one lane free and about 4 people using it, so more lanes would be good.
-enhanced accessibility
-larger/more group fitness rooms
-larger range of les mills classes
-more creche evening hours
-cross walk from car park to Recquatic
