🧤 Bertram Community Clean Up Day! (Past Event)
What a wonderful turn out over the weekend! Thank you to all who attended the Community Clean up! The amazing crew of 24 volunteers dedicated their Saturday morning to keeping Bertram beautiful!
The impact we made:
We collected approximately 172kgs of litter
Our pile of orange bags weighed in at a whopping 93.89kgs, as well as an observational estimate of 79kgs for the remaining pile of heavy items across the street! What a massive difference an hours effort made, you all should be incredibly proud of the positive impact on the area!
Donated 10c Containers to the Bertram Primary P&C
Containers collected on the morning went towards supporting the Bertram Primary P&C and their upcoming FREE Movie Night at Bertram Oval in celebration of Neighbour Day on the 20th of March!

🚶Pop-Up Walking Group - Come and try morning (Past Event)
Our second Pop-Up walking group went ahead along Price Parkway Loop! We are hoping that given the popularity of the Pop-Ups community members might step up and become walk group leaders! Find out more information here and register your interest in joining an existing or start your own!

Previous Bertram Place Plan Survey Engagements
The Place Team would like to thank everyone who has made the effort to complete the survey online and in person! We have received close to 200 responses and are in the process now of collating and reviewing data to begin putting together the Place Plan document including the set of actions influenced by your feedback, suggestions and ideas!

🍦Pop-Up Icecream Van at Centennial Park (Past Event)
The Place Team and the Traffic Engineering Team met with local residents in Centennial Park. The community came down to enjoy an icecream while learning about the upcoming Low Cost Urban Road Safety Program happening in their neighbourhood and provide feedback on the Bertram Place Survey.
🚸 Drop in Session at Bertram Community Centre (Past Event)
The Place Team and the Traffic Engineering Team met with residents in a drop-in session at the Bertram Community Centre. We had some great feedback regarding both the Bertram Place Plan Survey and the Low Cost Urban Road Safety Program.
☕Pop-Up Cafe at Ascot Park (Past Event)
Early risers on Saturday morning, joined the Place Team at Ascot Park to complete the survey and score a free coffee! Enjoying the park, the weather and some pop-up cafe style seating!
🍦Pop-Up Icecream Van at Ascot Park (Past Event)
The Place Team were down at Ascot Park and met with community members of all ages! We found out what they love about Bertram, as well as their big and small ideas on how to make the public and shared spaces event better so people want to spend more time in them!
✨Chat with the Place Team at Dazzle at Darius (Past Event)
Dazzle at Darius was such a great night while we focused on our other Place Place Project taking place in the Kwinana City Centre, we got to chat with lots of Bertram residents who attended and we got creative with paint pens asking what you already love, small and big ideas on how to get people to spend more time in public spaces in the City Centre!

🎨 Art in the Park - Community Footpath Mural Painting (Past Event)
Check out the amazing artwork by some of our local Bertram community members! The footpath mural at Ascot Park was a community-led project guided by Artist Darren Hutchens and supported by The City of Kwinana Place Team and Community Safety Team.
The community members participated in a hands-on brainstorming session on day one, to help shape the theme, colours and design. Then came back for day two for an interactive paint-by-numbers style mural installation!
