Proposed Local Government Property Local Law 2026

Pursuant to section 3.12(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, the City of Kwinana gives notice that it intends to make the following new local law:

Local Government Property Local Law

Purpose

• to regulate the care, control and management of all property of the local government with the exception of thoroughfares.

Effect

1. To repeal the Town of Kwinana Local Government Property Local Law; and
2. To control the use of local government property. Some activities are permitted only under a permit or under a determination and some activities are restricted or prohibited. Offences are created for inappropriate behaviour in or on local government property.
