The City of Kwinana has received an application to amend the Challenger Precinct (E26) Structure Plan, which applies to the land known as Cassia Glades Estate.

The amendment proposes to modify the land designated on the Structure Plan map as ‘Mixed Use’, to ‘Residential’ or ‘Commercial’ (as applicable) along with consequential textual modifications, as follows:

  • Delete the ‘Mixed-Use R80’ zone and ‘Mixed Use Strategic Precinct’ on the Structure Plan map and associated textual provisions (medium blue)
  • Designate the land in the north-western corner of the site as ‘Commercial’ with a residential density of R60 (light blue)
  • Designate the strategic precinct along Challenger Avenue as ‘Residential’ with a density range of either R40-R60 (brown) or R60-R80 (hashed orange)

Submissions on the proposed Precinct Structure Plan amendment may be lodged via the submission form below or via email to Planning.Team@kwinana.wa.gov.au or posted to City of Kwinana, PO Box 21, Kwinana WA 6966 from the day of this notice to11 Ju ne 2025.
